A premium five-day Rockies journey from Vancouver

This guided tour combines the Okanagan, the Canadian Rockies and British Columbia mountain scenery with overnight stays in Salmon Arm, two nights in Banff and a chalet stay in Blue River. The programme includes Lake Louise, Sulphur Mountain, the Icefields Parkway, Columbia Icefields, Jasper National Park and Wells Gray Provincial Park.

The trip is designed as a small-group experience with a maximum of 40 passengers. Four breakfasts, a winery visit and tasting, one group dinner, park passes and deluxe coach transportation are included in the published package.

Flight planning: the published tour information recommends arriving in Vancouver the day before the tour and flying home the day after it finishes. Flight delays or traffic can affect the schedule, and missed-tour or missed-flight costs are not automatically refundable.

Vancouver → Kelowna → Salmon Arm

Depart downtown Vancouver in the morning and travel east through the Fraser Valley. Stop in Kelowna for lunch and time to explore the lakeside city, then visit a local Okanagan winery for a tasting. Continue to Salmon Arm and check in at the lakefront Prestige Harbourfront Resort. After free time to explore nearby trails or the wharf, meet the group for dinner.

Salmon Arm → Revelstoke → Lake Louise → Banff

After breakfast, travel into the Rocky Mountains. Stop in Revelstoke for a coffee break and lunch supplies, then cross Rogers Pass in Glacier National Park. Continue to Moraine Lake when seasonal access permits, with canoe rental available on site, before exploring Lake Louise and arriving in Banff. The evening is free for dinner in town.

Banff & Sulphur Mountain

Ride the gondola to the summit of Sulphur Mountain for panoramic Rocky Mountain views. Continue with a scenic drive around Lake Minnewanka and the Two Jack Lake Loop, then tour Banff townsite with stops at Bow Falls, the Hoodoos and Banff Springs Hotel. The afternoon is open for shopping on Banff Avenue or optional outdoor activities at reduced rates.

Banff → Columbia Icefields → Jasper → Blue River

After breakfast, follow the Icefields Parkway toward Jasper National Park. Travel through the Columbia Icefields area and stop at an alpine lake. Guests can add the Ice Explorer Glacier Tour at extra cost. Continue to Jasper for dinner before travelling on to the Mike Wiegele Resort cabins in Blue River.

Blue River → Wells Gray Provincial Park → Kamloops → Vancouver

Begin with breakfast and travel from Blue River toward Vancouver. Stop in Clearwater and visit Spahats Falls in Wells Gray Provincial Park for a final scenic highlight. Continue to Kamloops for lunch, then drive south to Vancouver with expected arrival around 7:30 PM.
